EUROGEN 2025 Conference  will be proudly hosted by Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT, one of Finland’s top-ranked universities. The conference takes place at LUT University’s vibrant Lahti campus. EUROGEN 2025 arrives in September, as the city transforms into vibrant autumn colors. While Lahti is famous for its winter sports, you can still enjoy some virtual fun at the Ski Museum—try your hand at ski jumping or sharpen your snowball-throwing skills! After an active day, relax like a true Finn with a soothing sauna experience.

It is worth mentioning that Lahti is one of Europe’s pioneers in sustainable development and was named the European Green Capital in 2021.

By Plane and train

If you are travelling from afar, fly to Helsinki, then take a train from the airport to Lahti.
The train journey from Helsinki to Lahti takes approximately one hour. From the airport, take Commuter Train P and change trains at Tikkurila station. Tikkurila is a small, easy-to-navigate station, making the transfer simple. The route from the airport to Lahti is well-serviced, with trains running from early morning until midnight. 

Use the VR (National Railway Operator) online service to check schedules and purchase tickets.

By Ferry and car
 

There are daily ferry services to Helsinki from Estonia, Sweden, and Germany, with all ferry companies offering the option to pre-book and bring a car.
