Biography

Mohd. Khalid Zafeer is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellow and Ph.D. researcher at LUT University, Finland, as part of the MEM-FAST project. His research focuses on developing novel cellulose membranes with enhanced resistance to fouling, microbial attack, and solvent exposure, utilizing waste wood streams and green solvents to promote sustainable biorefinery technologies.

He holds a Master's in Material Science and Engineering from PSL Research University, France, where he specialized in "Materials of the Future: Design and Engineering," and a Master's in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, India. His expertise spans material characterization techniques, sustainable technologies, and advanced membrane development, contributing to greener and more efficient industrial practices.
