Transport hub connected to nature

As a railway junction, Kouvola is extremely well connected and accessible and ranks as the 11th most populous city in Finland.

This does not mean it is detached from nature – the train connects the city to the national park Repovesi, and the city is surrounded by nature that offers activities and places to explore all year round.

In summer, there are nature trails that allow you to discover forests, and in winter, there is a ski resort called Mielakka for downhill skiing and snowboarding.
