My name is Anna Peltoniemi and I have 25 years of experience in the technology industry, where my key focus areas have been business and service development, agile product management, co-creation and change facilitation, presales and marketing. My goal is to understand organizations’ business needs and create solutions, services and operating models that add value to organizations, their employees and customers. My experience is that with courage, curiosity and collaboration, great results can be achieved.
I had the opportunity to study Knowledge Management and Leadership in LUT's Master's programme during 2022-2024, which provided me valuable insight how to lead intellectual capital, collaboration, people and teams in knowledge intensive organizations in the era of technology and AI.
Studying also gave me a chance to reflect on my own career, learnings and what I want to do next. When reflecting on my own experiences, one clear learning was that by sharing the experiences and learnings we can help others. That is why I want to act as a mentor; I want to help others to acknowledge their potential and competence. In addition I wish to encourage mentees to take a systematic approach in designing their own path and work life. I wish to mentor anyone who needs encouragement and support in finding their way or already has specific goals but is not sure what are the next steps for reaching them. I know from experience it is not always easy, and most of us need support and encouragement on the way.
I am very excited about this mentoring opportunity and look forward to insightful future discussions and learnings.
