I am originally from Iran, where I completed my bachelor's and first master's degrees in civil engineering. In 2023, I graduated from LUT University with a master’s degree in Sustainability Science and Solutions, minoring in International Business. Finland’s wild nature and peacefulness captivated me, and I love spending my free time fishing, swimming, and enjoying outdoor activities. During my studies at LUT, I worked as an exam invigilator for a year, which was a valuable experience that helped me develop my communication and organizational skills. After graduation, I moved to Helsinki and worked on a short-term research project at the University of Helsinki’s Forestry Department.
I wanted to become a mentor to stay connected with students and newcomers and share my experiences of studying and living in Finland. LUT's academic atmosphere and the supportive staff were a big part of my journey, and I hope to give back by helping students navigate their own paths. I enjoy flexible schedules, so I have plenty of time to engage with my mentees, discuss their challenges, and offer guidance based on my own academic and personal experiences.
