Meals
The summer school participation fee includes one lunch per day at the university cafeteria. The lunch includes the main course, beverages, bread, side salad and coffee. Additionally, you can buy breakfast, snacks and beverages at the cafeteria. NOTE: LUT students pays for lunch themselves.
The opening hours of the university cafeteria are 8:00 to 14:30. Snacks costs approximately EUR 2, coffee or tea approximately EUR 1. In addition, there are basic cooking facilities in the residences.
Supermarkets are open 7:00–21:00 on weekdays, 7:00–20:00 on Saturdays, and 11:00–20:00 on Sundays.
There are pizza and kebab restaurants close to your residence (Selam, address: Skinnarilankatu 1; Pizza Rakuuna, address: Hietakallionkatu 2; Susan Pizza, address: Sammontori 2). More restaurants are located in the city centre. Learn more during the city tour.
