LUT students and alumni will come together during Job Shadowing Days in April 2025! Alumni, would you like to offer a student the chance to see what your typical workday is like? Sign up by 28 February.
A Job Shadowing Day is a one-day visit to an LUT alumnus' workplace. During the day, the student gets to observe and learn about a job related to their field of study by watching and listening to a professional carry out their typical workday tasks.
Students are able to
- gain insights into key skills needed in their field.
- discuss and ask questions about topics of interest in an informal, confidential, and relaxed setting with an alumnus.
- receive advice on how to plan the remainder of their studies.
No commitment to long-term collaboration or obligation to offer an internship or job.
The Job Shadowing Days will take place from 2–11 April. During this time, pairs of students and alumni will meet for their pre-scheduled job shadowing day.
