LUT Alumni Afterwork events made a comeback last year. See you in Lahti in March!

In addition to catch up with friends, the Lahti Afterwork event will give you the chance to update your knowledge on how ESG will affect the future of business management in a broader sense, and where to focus your process development work.

The Afterwork will take place on Thursday 20 March at 17.00-19.00 at Kuja Street Food Restaurant, Aleksanterinkatu 14.

Alumni Afterwork events are relaxed and free networking opportunities for all our alumni, regardless of their degree program. We organize these events in different cities across Finland where our alumni are located.

Program:

  • 5:00 PM Arrival at the Kuja Street Food Lahti and a welcome drink
  • 5:15 PM Welcome words and LUT news, Harri Koponen
  • 5:20 PM Presentation on Emerging Challenges in Management: Incorporating ESG Data into Performance, Juhani Ukko and Tero Rantala

At the moment, ESG reporting in management is not yet fully comparable to, say, accounting and the information it provides, but it will be in the future.  ESG- thematic is moving from the desks of environmental managers to the to-do lists of top management of the companies and boards.

  • 5:40 PM Free socializing and networking with drinks and light snacks

The presentations are in English, and otherwise the event is bilingual.

The event is limited to 50 alumni, so reserve your spot as soon as possible! Register here.
