Mira Timperi, Master of Science in Technology, will defend her doctoral dissertation in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management at LUT 15 May at noon, in Auditorium 2310. Her dissertation is titled Digital twins for the manufacturing sector amidst the twin transition: Prospects for enhancing environmental sustainability and business competitiveness. Docent, university lecturer Osmo Kauppila of University of Oulu, Finland, will act as opponent. Docent, associate professor Lea Hannola of LUT University will act as custos.
