Sanaz Afshariantorghabeh, Master of Science in Technology, will defend her doctoral dissertation in the field of mechanical engineering at LUT on November 1 at noon, in Auditorium 1316 and online. Her dissertation is titled “Thermoforming of fibre-based materials: an investigation into material characteristics and process variables”. Professor Sören Östlund of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, will act as opponent. Associate Professor (tenure track) Ville Leminen of LUT University will act as custos.
