Biography

I have started academic professorship in 2013 related to Fluid dynamics in chemical engineering applications. Since 2015 I have conducted Chemical Process design and development Research group, and in 2018 started Chemical process systems engineering professorship. I have relatively broad expertise due to changing the research topics from crystallization research to fluid mixing research in applying artificial intelligence techniques and computational fluid dynamics at early stages of career. I have worked as process chemist and as senior scientist in pharmaindustries for over 10 years related to organic synthesis based active pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also chemical process design, process development and chemical process intensification have been on-going research and teaching topics. Since 2016 Power-to-X research related process design and reactor design have been current interests.
