I'm Niina, a seasoned professional with a career focused on driving business growth and innovation, particularly in the fields of sustainable technology and manufacturing. My roots lay in the LUT mechanical department, from where I graduated in 2009 – with warm memories. With over 15 years of experience I have led various teams and projects, building a strong foundation of expertise in operations, people and technology management, mostly a bit far of the topics I actually studied. So maybe there is also something to share for and guide someone else who is thinking to start his/hers route from there.

My drive for mentoring is that there is always room for extra support, we should not have the feeling we are alone here. If I could help to get some answers to questions, open some doors or help to put things, what concerns the most, in proper order, I am more than happy to be at service. I think we could have good chats with someone who has set his/hers standards high, is willing to work on it, but thinks that it is super relevant to keep good work/life balance in life and maybe is still having uncertainty on the routes to be picked or how his/hers selections at this time of life can be reflected to the future.

BTW. When I'm not busy with work, I enjoy family time and mothering of my three kids. I also try to stay active, whether it's skiing, biking, gardening or building stuff – you name it. I believe a balance of hard work, curiosity, and a good sense of humor helps to navigate through both professional and personal life. Reasonable serious and relaxed enough.
