My educational background is a balanced combination of engineering and human sciences. In 1997 I graduated from LUT with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. A few years ago, I took a degree of community pedagogy (Master of Humanities) as people and wellbeing of organizations are close to my heart.
I am known as energetic, and people focused change management professional with extensive management consulting experience. Years in consulting business both in client facing and internal roles have given me perspective to the many kinds of clients and industries as well international work life.
The reason I volunteer as a mentor is the interest in people from many different backgrounds, especially younger professionals who are in the start of their career and may benefit from my perspectives and experience. Sometimes just talking things out loud may bring clarity in the questions that you keep on wondering. I am perfectly happy with any kind of mentee but if management consulting is of your interest, I may have a story or two to share.
During my free time I volunteer as dog trainer in a local dog club, do voluntary work with my dog Koda, enjoy walks in the nature, spend time at the cottage and go to gym. Travelling abroad is also always in my mind! Overall, I am quite down the earth type of person.
