Accredited Programmes

The LUT Business School has been awarded an internationally acclaimed five-year AACSB accreditation in 2022. The recognition reflects the high quality of education and research in the field of economics and business administration. Only a small proportion, 5%, of the world's universities offering business degrees have received AACSB accreditation. AACSB stands for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB accreditation covers the School's full programme portfolio.

The LUT Business School has joined a select international group of business faculties and schools with prestigious accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

The Master's in International Marketing Management (MIMM) programme was

accredited first time in 2012 and awarded the latest five-year re-accreditation in January 2021.

Euro-Inf® (granted by EQUANIE) and ASIIN are quality labels for engineering degree programmes at the Bachelor and Master level. The first time the programmes were accredited in 2012 and and the latest re-accreditation took place in 2024.

Master's programme in Technomathematics and Technical Physics - currently M.Sc. programme in Computational Engineering and Technical Physics - has been inspected by ECMI - European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry in March 31st - April 1st on 2011. The purpose of ECMI inspection is to see how well the local implementation of the Master Programme meets the characteristics of the ECMI educational guidelines.

The inspection is also meant to report how well the local programme reflects the spirit expressed by ECMI mission statement: to promote the use of mathematical models in industry, to educate industrial mathematicians to meet the growing demand for such experts and to operate on a European scale.

The inspection was followed with a detailed report concerning the strengths and the challenges of the programme.
