Biography

Dr. Ekaterina Laakso have been doing scientific research since 2003. During this time, Dr. Laakso was working with synthesis, functionalization, characterization and electrochemical tests of graphene materials, carbon nanotubes, conductive polymers, transition metal oxides/hydroxides, lithiated transition metal oxides for supercapacitor, biosensors, and Li-ion battery applications. Nowadays Ekaterina is working as associate professor in School of Engineering Science of LUT University developing infrastructure for the Li battery research and continuing study and teaching related to materials for the electrochemical energy storage and material recycling.
