Kaisa Pekkala

Kaisa Pekkala (PhD) is University Lecturer in Communication Sciences. Her research investigates new forms of communicative work and digital inclusion. Before Academia she worked more than 15 years in variety of communications management positions in global corporations (KONE Corporatation and Stora Enso). Throughout her career, she has specialized in digital media and strategic communication. Kaisa has published in journals such as Human Resource Management Journal, European Management Journal, Leadership, Corporate Communications, Employee Relations and European Management review. Kaisa is a member of ProComma Academic editorial board and the Council of Ethics for Communication (www.ven.fi).
