Lassi Aarniovuori
Biography
Lassi Aarniovuori (IEEE Senior Member) received M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the D.Sc. degree in electric motors and drives from the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), Lappeenranta, Finland, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. During 2017 – 2019 he was a Marie Curie Fellow with the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Aston University, Birmingham, U.K. He is currently an Associate Professor in Electric Transportation with the LUT School of Energy Systems.
His current research interests include all aspcets related to electric transportation systems, especially wide band-gap power switches, high-speed machine technology, modulation methods, simulation of electric drives, efficiency measurements, and calorimetric measurement systems.
