My main research area is empirical software engineering.
My research interests include software engineering processes and practices, continuous software engineering, agile software development, large-scale agile, DevOps, software project management, global software engineering, and software engineering educational research.
I perform empirical research on highly relevant software engineering topics in close collaboration with industrial and academic partners. Important for me is practical relevance – I want to work on solving real-world problems that are important to the software industry.
