Samuel Repka

Samuel Repka is a Junior Researcher and a PhD student at the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Laboratory (CVPRL) at the Department of Computational Engineering of Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT, Finland. His master studies in Computer Vision were successfully finished at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic, with red diploma, as well as at LUT as part of a double degree programme with average grade of 5.

During his studies, Repka worked for 2 years in the TESCAN company, where he acquired familiarity with Scanning Electron Microscopes and its applications. This experience was utilized and reinforced while working on both bachelor and master theses.

Repka's interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and digital image processing and analysis.
