Project description
The research project explores the impact of exoskeletons on the physical load of care work, as well as seeks to identify the prerequisites and capacity for their implementation. The research is conducted in two units of elderly care housing, providing information about the potential of exoskeletons in facilitating care work, based on physiological measurements and user experiences as well as social perspectives. Additionally, the project will establish a model how exoskeletons can be implemented in care work. Our partner in physiological measurements is the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
