Hipo is a doctoral network for researching Integrated high-speed power systems for industry and mobile applications, which is part of a European MSCA programme running from 2022 to 2026 with six academic institutions: LUT, KIT, Chalmers, DTU, Aalborg and UNIPI.
High-power high-speed machines and system integration are like the Formula One race cars of the electrical drives industry. As in motor sports, high-speed drives adopt the latest technological advancements and push them to extremes.
This doctoral network will train ten highly skilled doctoral candidates and create a methodology for optimum drive designs in transportation applications.
